There have been many glowing testimonials for Debi’s Self as Therapist weekends on the ICEEFT listserve. Here is just one:
“This is a quick note to give much warranted praise and kudos to Debi Scimeca-Diaz and Karen Giunta for a second, even more powerful SOT weekend than the last! Held this past Friday and Saturday, September 12th and 13th at the lovely beach home of one of our very own NJ EFTers Martha Heinkel, it was truly a wonderful experience, from which I saw the benefits in my practice with my first client on Monday morning! No doubt the beautiful surroundings helped set the tone, but the combined leadership, genuineness, and compassion offered by both Debi and Karen really made for a truly safe environment in which to reflect on ourselves, our own past injuries, and how these impact our work. And more importantly, we all had the opportunity to experience healing, even a little bit, experiencing what we in turn work so hard to give to our clients every day. I dare say, we all left feeling that we’d experienced something special, both “having held” and “having been held” over the course of the weekend….
And here’s what participants said after Debi’s SOT weekend at Chico in February, 2015:
“By far the best training experience thus far in my professional and personal life. Thanks, Debi! You are the real deal Debi :).”
“I feel so grateful to Debi for her amazing and very significant gifts. Debi is one of the most gifted trainers that I’ve met in my career. She models vulnerability and attachment skills while teaching them. She is genuine, approachable, warm, inspiring; and she encourages us to be who we really are. She believes in everyone and tunes into each person’s individual needs and challenges. I love you, Debi!”
“Debi & Lori are amazing.” “Thank you Debi & Lori – so very healing.”
“Debi has an amazing ability to stay with the client-therapist as they sort through their experience, helping them make sense & organize it. Lori holds space with unbelievable warmth and availability.”
“The group is wonderful & Debi & Lori you are so loving & competent.” “Debi is an amazing facilitator & Lori is also an amazing co-facilitator & organizer. Both did a terrific job of making this training a wonderful experience.”
